Who We Are

Where ancient myth meets modern chemistry

Artchemys was born from a conviction that science should serve culture. We are a chemistry company building a portfolio of innovative materials — starting with the conservation of art, growing into the future of sustainable chemistry.

Our name carries the hidden spirit of Artemis — Greek goddess of precision and protection — and the aletheia: the uncovering of what is concealed. Like our organogel that reveals the true colors of paintings hidden beneath layers of wax.

Α
Aletheia — Truth in Materials
Our technology reveals what has been hidden. We uncover the original brilliance of artworks, restoring what time and chemistry have concealed.
Χ
Chemistry Without Compromise
No carcinogens. No special infrastructure. No compromise between efficacy and safety. Our organogel replaces TCE — a known carcinogen — with a safe, reusable alternative.
Μ
Mythology of Innovation
Like Prometheus who brought fire to humanity, we bring scientific knowledge from the laboratory to the hands of conservators, restorers, and collectors worldwide.
Our Technology

eLoZelo Organogel

01
pNIPA-LAP Nanocomposite Organogel
Poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) crosslinked with Laponite XLS nanoclay, saturated with our proprietary POA solvent mixture. The world's first safe, effective alternative to TCE for wax-resin lining removal.
Patent Protected
02
Reusable — Minimum 9× Applications
Unlike single-use chemical treatments, eLoZelo can be regenerated and reused at least 9 times without loss of efficacy. Simply immerse in fresh POA solvent — the gel recovers its full cleaning power.
Sustainable
03
Safe for Canvas, Paint & Conservators
Confirmed by FTIR and GC-MS analysis — eLoZelo does not damage linen canvas or polymerized oil paint layers. No special ventilation required. No carcinogenic substances. No hazardous waste disposal.
